Entre Sierras Gravel Race

Entre Sierras comes from Villanueva del Trabuco, a village in the north-eastern hills of Málaga province where the Río Guadalhorce rises. The loop heads out through the countryside of Villanueva del Rosario, Archidona and Antequera on rideable dirt tracks and short stretches of light singletrack, threading between scrubland, sierras and olive groves.

It began as the province's first gravel competition and soon joined the national gravel cup. It is also part of FanBike, a three-day cycling fair run by the local club VAS Trabuco, where the gravel race shares the weekend with enduro, downhill, kids' events, workshops and concerts, so the day feels like a village festival as much as a start line.
