A weekend gravel gathering in the Alt Empordà, based at Camping La Ballena Alegre in Sant Pere Pescador (Costa Brava).
The Festa Gravelera is organised jointly by the Ajuntament de Sant Pere Pescador, Empordà Turisme and Camping La Ballena Alegre, with the collaboration of three Girona-area riding groups: Girona Gravel Girls, Gravel Girona and Bike Sant Pere. It is a public-and-community initiative rather than a race organisation, tourism-board on one side and grassroots gravel scene on the other.
The organisers describe it as "un encuentro para disfrutar de la bicicleta, descubrir los paisajes del Empordà y compartir caminos y experiencias con otros amantes del gravel", built on three verbs: pedalea, descubre, comparte. The route menu spans three difficulty tiers plus a night ride, opening the weekend up to families, casual riders and more experienced gravel riders alike.
The camping's on-site accommodation offer and the multi-day programme reinforce the framing: a festival-style weekend around gravel in the Empordà, closer to a community meet-up than to a competitive event.
