About this event
A long, self-supported gravel loop out of the Barcelona metropolitan area and through inland Catalonia: vineyards, cereal fields, heritage towns and the steep walls of Montserrat. One push, no checkpoints, day or night riding allowed, and everything you need carried on the bike.
Gran Vertical comes from the same association as the CAT700 brevet and shares its self-sufficiency ethos in a shorter, early-spring format. With the CAT700 taking a pause in 2027 to rethink its format, this is where that community meets next.
