Gravel Adventure

Gravel Adventure is Poland's round of the UCI Gravel World Series, an amateur race in the Izera Mountains that doubles as a qualifier for the UCI Gravel World Championships. The organisers have been part of the series since its very first season, and the race has made the Polana Jakuszycka sports centre above Szklarska Poręba, close to the Czech and German borders, its home.

The course runs almost entirely off-road on the broad gravel roads of the Izera range, with a few muddy, narrow singletrack sections and the odd stretch of old tarmac. The organisers describe the Izera Mountains as a place where time slows down and nature impresses with its variety, an ideal setting for a gravel race.

It is run by Grabek Promotion, an organiser with a long record of UCI events, including the UCI Bike Marathon Series and the Trophy Maja Włoszczowska MTB Race, alongside Bike Maraton and the Uphill Race Śnieżka.
