Gravel Blinduro

Gravel Blinduro takes the Blinduro idea of racing timed segments on sight, without knowing the course in advance, and puts it on drop-bar bikes in Česká Kanada, the wooded hill country of South Bohemia known as Czech Canada.

Each day riders tackle a handful of timed segments linked by easy-paced transfers on light terrain, heading out one way on Saturday and riding the route in reverse on Sunday, with no overall time limit. The organisers sum up the mood themselves: stress factor zero, fun level unlimited.

Blinduro also runs mountain bike races through the year, with summer, autumn and winter editions, and its gravel race was launched with four-cross world champion Michal Prokop involved, as Bikerumor reported at the time.
