GT3 Lavaredo brought the UCI Gravel World Series to the Dolomites with a debut edition around Auronzo di Cadore, beneath the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. The organiser presented it as the Italian round where riders could qualify for the UCI European and World Gravel Championships.

The organiser describes a course with a marathon character: long climbs that stay rideable so each rider can settle into a rhythm, and long descents that are not technical, with only the final short ramps asking for care. It was designed for gravel bikes, but mountain bikes are allowed and, by the organiser's account, are not penalised.

It is organised by Pedali di Marca, the Treviso-area team behind the 2023 UCI Gravel World Championships in Veneto. Fabian Rabensteiner and Karolina Migon won the first edition.
