About this event

This ride began as Isidro Pulido's own dream: a cycling event for the Sierra de Los Pedroches. Today his family, friends and neighbours in Villanueva de Córdoba bring it to life every year in his memory, through the non-profit association Sueño Compartido, and the event is run as a charity ride built on volunteers and local support.

The course dives into the Dehesa de Los Pedroches, an endless sea of holm oaks that the organisers call the largest oak dehesa in Europe, between the Guadalquivir valley and the high Meseta. Expect fast tracks broken up by technical sections, almost entirely off road and fully waymarked. Much of it crosses private estates that open their gates to riders only on race day, which is why no GPS track is shared.

In 2026 the memorial was a round of the Spanish Gravel Cup and brought some of the country's best gravel specialists to this small Andalusian town, yet it keeps a family feel, with village aid stations and a finisher trophy. The organisers are already working towards the next edition.
