About this event

NonStop Gravel Cantabria is a non-stop, self-supported bikepacking challenge into the Cantabrian mountains. Riders carry what they need, refuel where they can along the way, and keep moving through valleys, forests and high passes until they are back at base.

The routes leave the green coastal country around Caborredondo and climb through the Pasiegos valleys and the Saja-Besaya area. The longest continues over the Portillo de Lunada to Las Merindades, the Ebro, the Montaña Palentina and the edge of the Picos de Europa, before returning to the beaches of Oyambre.

It is run by NonStop Aventura, a team rooted in adventure racing whose founder Urtzi Iglesias finished runner-up at the Adventure Racing World Championship. The weekend begins with a shared dinner at a traditional Cantabrian casona, where riders meet before heading into the hills.
