Nova Eroica Ivrea

Nova Eroica Ivrea brings the Eroica idea of heroic cycling to the Canavese, the corner of northern Piedmont around Ivrea. The routes run over gravel roads, vineyards and the hills of the great morainic amphitheatre left by an ancient glacier, starting from a town recognised by UNESCO for its history.

The Nova format mixes timed segments with free-pace sections: you push on the climbs that count, then ease off to take in the landscape and the food stops with friends. The longest loop circles the whole amphitheatre, the middle one explores the Serra ridge, and the shortest is a gentle ride among castles, all wrapped in the festival atmosphere Eroica is known for.
