About this event

The Gravel Rally is the Pan Celtic Race's short, brutal micro-adventure in Eryri National Park in North Wales, a tribute to more than 80 years of rallying heritage in these mountains and forests. Like a car rally it is raced on timed sectors linked by neutralised transition stages, so riders go hard on the specials and then recover and catch up with friends on the road between them.

The sectors mix high, flat gravel roads, technical descents and rolling forest tracks that lead deep into the hidden heart of Eryri, with some that reward pure skill and others that end in hike-a-bike. An optional Night Stage time trial on forest roads and singletrack under lights opens the weekend. Riders are expected to be self-sufficient and to navigate for themselves, and the rally is based at the Nant Conwy rugby club in Llanrwst.
