About this event

A big day on Peak District gravel, run as part of the Peak District Cycling Festival. Much of the riding follows the region's classic former railway trails, the Monsal, Tissington and High Peak, linked by rougher farm tracks and a few spots only locals tend to know.

The shorter options are challenging without being brutal, with smooth gravel for long stretches, while the Double Peak crosses both the Dark and White Peak against a 15 hour cut-off. Organiser Glorious Gravel turns it into a full weekend, with camping, club rides, free courses and pub quizzes on the Friday and road riding on the classic climbs on the Sunday.
