Shardana Bikeventure

Shardana Bikeventure is an unsupported bikepacking journey that loops out of Olbia and asks riders to find Sardinia beyond the postcards: forgotten roads, old paths, remote villages and landscapes shaped by thousands of years of history. It is not a race against the clock. The organisers frame it as collecting stories, sharing meals and travelling at the right pace.

The route is designed for gravel bikes and mixes dirt roads, bike paths, quiet secondary roads and stretches of trail. Depending on the option it crosses the island from the north towards the wild mountains of the southwest and the clear water of the Sinis peninsula, passing Nuragic sites, old mining country, forests and coastal cliffs, with partner towns along the way welcoming riders.

The project comes from La Nuragica, and the same routes can also be ridden year round as permanent Shardana experiences. Places for the April start are limited.
