About this event

The Gravelfoyle Weekender is a gravel enduro in Aberfoyle, the village in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park that riders have nicknamed Gravelfoyle. It revives the Dukes Weekender, the first event Bike Trossachs ever ran, and blends competition with social riding: one loop of forest roads and paths through mountains, lochs and glens, with a handful of timed stages and the rest of the day ridden at your own pace on gravel or cross-country bikes.

Bike Trossachs is a community interest company set up by local gravel and mountain bike riders Stu Thomson and Rob Friel, and the Dukes Weekender began in 2018 as part of a push for community-led regeneration in Aberfoyle, which has since opened the UK's first waymarked gravel trails. The Saturday brings social rides, workshops, talks and a kids' mini enduro, and the Sunday enduro is the closing leg of the Gravelfoyle Triple Crown alongside the Gravelfoyle 10 and the Grand Old Dukes.
