About this event

Wanoga is a gravel ultra through Kashubia and Pomerania that its organiser calls one of the most demanding gravel ultramarathons in Poland. Riders head out from Stężyca, among the Kashubian lakes and forests, onto fast forest gravel, rolling farm tracks and quiet village lanes, and the longer routes run all the way to the open sea.

More than half of the route is gravel, with asphalt kept low, and the organiser balances premium gravel with rougher links to places worth the detour: pine forests, lakeland, the Słupia valley on the shortest route and the Baltic coast at Łeba, where a pit stop with hot drinks and mats to rest on waits for riders on the longer routes. Every rider carries a GPS tracker, so friends at home can follow along live.

Wanoga is run by Rezerwat Przygody, the small Pomeranian team that also organises Reza na Kaszubach, and the start village brings riders together the evening before for a shared meal. Testimonials from past riders on the organiser's site praise the routes and, above all, the people.
