Ardenne Gravel Stages bills itself as the first gravel stage race in Belgium: three days of racing through the high Ardennes around Vielsalm, Gouvy and Baraque Fraiture, in the province of Luxembourg.
Each stage starts from a different place, so the event feels like a short tour of the region rather than a single loop, and riders can also pick a two-day version or a single stage. The organiser promises varied trails that test endurance, technique and a taste for adventure, with an overall ranking at the end.
It is run by Sport & Tourism Promotion, the same team behind the Belgium Bike Festival in Andenne.
