About this event

ArezzoGravel is a relaxed, non-competitive ride out of the heart of Arezzo, open to gravel bikes, mountain bikes and e-bikes. Riders roll away from Piazza della Liberta, the longer groups together and the rest in a staggered start, onto loops built mostly on the white roads and quiet lanes of the province.

The defining climb is the Alpe di Poti. On the longer routes its ascent becomes a timed hill climb, the one moment of racing in an otherwise easy-going day, with prizes for the fastest riders and for the biggest team.

The ride is part of a weekend in town alongside L'Ardita Arezzo Bike Festival, with stalls, street food and bike shops on the Prato park and cycling exhibitions in the Provincia building. It is run by the local club A.S.D. Gli Arditi del Ciclismo, affiliated to UISP.
