About this event

Bison MTB takes riders into Puszcza Knyszyńska, the huge and well-preserved forest that curves around Białystok in Podlasie, on forest paths, tracks and rolling hills. The organiser builds the event around the region's wild nature and its meeting of cultures: in the Middle Ages this was a restless borderland between Poland, the Yotvingians, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Ruthenia, and along the way riders pass wayside shrines, Orthodox churches, small Catholic churches and a mosque.

It is part of the Bison Festival weekend in Supraśl, which also hosts the Bison Ultra-Trail running races and children's races; more than 4,000 people crossed a finish line across the 2026 festival. The courses run from a family ride, where children ride with an adult, to a mountain bike marathon and a long gravel race with feed stations in the forest villages, all in the warm colours of the Podlasie autumn.

Bison MTB is organised by Fundacja Białystok Biega, with the cycling association Grupa Szalonych Rowerzystów as co-organiser.
