Border

Border is the fast sibling of Hydra from the Epas crew, an unsupported bikepacking event that traces the remote roads along Lithuania's borders on a touring route riders have been using since 2008.

The organisers describe quiet border roads that are heavily forested, full of wildlife and unusually hilly for Lithuania, with the route eventually meeting the Baltic coast in the west. It is timed to catch the gravel at its best, slightly damp but firm.
