The Celtic Race is a long-running mountain bike marathon around the Dünsberg, the 497 m hill above Biebertal in Hesse, which also includes a dedicated gravel course.
Most riders tackle one, two or three laps around the hill on the MTB routes, while gravel riders get their own two-lap course on the same day. The 2026 edition, the twentieth, also hosted the German MTB marathon championships, which shows the standard of the racing at the front.
It is a proper village cycling festival, organised by the local motor club AMC Rodheim-Bieber with help from Biebertal's fire brigade and sports clubs.
