About this event
The gravel side of the Colnago Lake Garda Cycling Festival is two days of relaxed riding from the lakefront of Desenzano del Garda, with a different loop each day: Sentieri della Battaglia on the Friday and Terra del Garda on the Saturday.
Each loop can be ridden on your own with the GPS track the organisers email before the event, or in a group led by the festival's Angel Passion guides, certified by the Garda Academy, at one of three average speeds. The guided groups pause at wineries along the way to taste local hospitality and regional produce.
It is a ride rather than a race: a non-competitive medical certificate is all you need. The weekend is run by P.M. Sport alongside the festival's Colnago granfondo, randonnée and family ride, so the whole town fills with cyclists.
