Corfu Mountain Trail

Corfu Mountain Trail crosses the island from its north-east coast to the heart of Corfu town: the long race climbs to the summit of Mount Pantokrator, the highest point on Corfu, before running down to the west coast and back across the island to finish at the Liston.

On the way it links traditional villages of northern Corfu such as Spartilas, Strinilas, Sokraki and Lakones, reaches Paleokastritsa, then follows paths above the beaches of Liapades, Myrtiotissa and Glyfada. The shorter races join the course from points along the way, and in the final kilometres every runner passes the Achilleion Palace, Mouse Island, Mon Repos and Garitsa bay.

The 2027 race is the fifteenth edition, held with the cooperation of the Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands, and on the Sunday a free kids' race organised with the Region of the Ionian Islands brings the weekend to a close.
