An organised loop along the Costa Brava with checkpoints at coves and farms. Choose-your-own pace over a long weekend - fast riders finish in two days, most take three or four with stops for swimming.
The framing matters. This isn't an ultra in the Cat700 sense - there's a route, there are checkpoints, but the clock isn't really the point. You start when you want, sleep where you want, and get back when you get back. The cap is the long-weekend window: roll out Friday, be back by Sunday evening.
Sant Pere Pescador is the base - Empordà coast, the Aiguamolls wetland to the south and the rocky inlets of Cap de Creus to the north. Cork-oak forest inland, beach kilometres in between. The route stitches the three together in a way solo touring rarely manages on its own.
A useful gateway into bikepacking for riders who want the loaded-bike feel without committing to a full ultra. Show up, ride, swim, sleep, repeat.
