About this event

Dirty Jutland is a point-to-point gravel ride up the west coast of Jutland that always ends in the same place: Skagen, at the very top of Denmark. Four challenges set off from different points along the coast, from the German border, Blavandshuk, Klitmoller and Slettestrand, and the whole field converges on one finish.

The routes link gravel tracks, paths and quiet asphalt along the coast, and the organisers say they are hardest early on and ease nearer the finish. The Grinder climbs over the landmark Bulbjerg cliff, while the longest options start on the Friday evening and ride through the night towards the tip of Jutland.

It is built so that most riders can take part: two Lanterne Rouge riders sweep the back of the field with spare tubes and good humour, buses run riders from Skagen back to the starts, and a burger and a beer wait at the finish. Riders can enter solo or as a pair in the team classification, and tickets can be switched to a shorter distance right up to race day.
