About this event
Dirty Santa is Trail Break's pre-Christmas blast on the winter trails of the Surrey Hills, and the 2026 ride is its tenth edition. It is a classic Surrey Hills trail ride made for cross-country mountain bikes and 29ers, though gravel bikes are welcome and will be at home on most of it, with only one or two trickier sections.
The mood is firmly festive. A manned feed station hands out tea and mince pies, there are prizes for the best outfit and the best decorated bike, and adult finishers take home a bottle of specially brewed Dirty Santa ale along with a finisher's medal and a place in the prize draw. Routes are fully signposted and chosen for the best riding at that time of year, with rider timing and on-site catering back at the start.
