About this event
The Dorset Gravel Dash starts and finishes at a pub near the seaside in Swanage, on the Isle of Purbeck, and loops out across the Dorset countryside. It is a non-timed, self-supported reliability trial: no race clock, no waymarks, just a route file and a long day of exploring.
Riders pick a one-day outing on the Sunday, and can even switch between the long and short loop on the day, or turn it into a two-day bikepacking trip with an overnight camp, evening meal and breakfast provided. Almost 200 riders signed up for the last edition in a very sunny Dorset.
