Dwars door het Hageland Gravel

Dwars door het Hageland Gravel calls itself a true classic, and it draws a crowd to match: thousands of riders head out into the rolling Hageland landscape on gravel roads, sunken lanes and winding paths.

The landscape does a lot of the work: vineyards and wide orchards, the meandering Demer river, and landmarks such as the Vlooybergtoren lookout tower and the Maagdentoren along the way. It is a non-competitive ride, with routes that go from a gentle first taste of gravel to a proper full-day challenge.

It is one of the rounds of the Bolero Gravel Series, organised by Golazo, which also runs the series races in Turnhout and Leuven.
