Głogów Gravel Racing is the flat-out finale of the Podkarpackie Gravel Festival: a fast gravel race that starts as a bunch behind a police escort, on a course fully secured by marshals and emergency services, and which the organisers say sees higher speeds than any other gravel route in Poland.
The finish comes in the centre of Głogów Małopolski on an evening of celebration, with hundreds of spectators, a podium on a big stage and a concert that closes the festival. Stowarzyszenie Velo Galicja, who also run Galicja Gravel Race and Łemko Gravel, say it is the festival's fastest-selling race, and every year a good number of riders miss out when places run out.
