About this event

Gonzaga Gravel is a non-competitive gravel day run by ASD Castel Goffredo Ciclismo, a group of local riders who wanted an event without stopwatches or rankings, where the aim is to enjoy the journey rather than to win. It is open to riders of every level, and the organisers sum up its spirit simply: what counts is the smile you cross the line with.

From Castel Goffredo the routes link white roads, river embankments and the farmland of the Alto Mantovano with historic towns such as Solferino, Pozzolengo, Medole and Castiglione delle Stiviere.

The day closes with a pasta party for everyone, and in 2026 the club added a short family ride through the countryside around Castel Goffredo and Casaloldo, guided by local historian Gian Agazzi.
