About this event

Gravel Fondo Cymru is a gravel event in the hills of mid Wales, run by A Cycling Ltd on a lap course in the forest near Llanwrtyd Wells. The 2026 edition moved to this new venue and hosted the official Beicio Cymru (Welsh Cycling) Gravel Championships.

Riders can enter competitive age categories from junior up to veteran, or take a non-competitive option instead, and the lap format lets everyone choose how much of the course they take on. It is open to all abilities from the age of 16, which makes it as much a day out for newer gravel riders as a championship race.
