Gravel Trans Jura

The Gravel Trans Jura is a bikepacking adventure across the whole Jura arc, from the old spa town of Baden to Nyon on the shore of Lake Geneva. There is one shared start on the Theaterplatz in Baden, and after that every rider sets their own pace, day length and style, from hotel beds to nights on a camping mat.

The route strings together seven cantons: the ridges of the Solothurn and Basel Jura, the wide pastures of Bern and Jura, then the big viewpoints of the Neuchâtel and Vaud Jura on the way down to the lake. A dedicated app carries the track, checkpoints, places to sleep, bike shops and emergency numbers, so riders can change plans as the days unfold.

For its fourth edition the event grows from one route to three, adding a more accessible Short and a longer Extended alongside the original Classic, while keeping the stopwatch firmly in the background. It is run by the ridegravel.ch team behind the Gravel Festival Bern.
