GravelMan Series Brest plays out at the far end of Finistère, facing the Iroise Sea: coastal paths, the deep inlets of the abers, sunken lanes and small roads lined with granite. The organisers promise stretches where you hear the waves without seeing them, and short climbs that bite.
Like every GravelMan weekend it is an adventure rather than a race, with no ranking and no course marking until the finish. Riders follow a GPS track on their own and manage their own navigation, food and kit, with trackers for safety and for friends following at home. Each distance comes in a gravel or a road version.
The GravelMan Series runs these self-supported weekends across France, and past riders describe a project where the people come first. Its motto: you come to ride, and you leave with more.
