About this event
GravelMan Series Orléans heads out between the Loire and the Sologne, through the Forêt d'Orléans, past its lakes and along small roads lined with pale tuffeau stone. It is a self-supported adventure, not a race: there is no ranking, and the route stays unmarked until the finish.
Riders follow a GPS track at their own pace and handle their own navigation, food and kit, while trackers let the organisers and families follow them. Each distance has a gravel version mixing forest tracks with stretches of road, and a road version for those who prefer tarmac.
The GravelMan Series runs weekends like this across France, and past riders describe a project where the people come first. Its own motto puts it simply: you come to ride, and you leave with more.
