About this event

Grävely Fest calls itself Estonia's biggest gravel festival, a summer weekend on the edge of Tartu built around the motto 'Ratas. Kruus. Melu.', roughly bikes, gravel and a good racket, where flat-out racing and easy social riding share the same start.

The main rides follow wide, winding gravel roads through Tartu and Peipsiääre parishes, with pine forests and a stretch along the shore of Lake Kaiu, and the organisers deliberately steer clear of muddy MTB trails. Riders choose their own style, from untimed cruising to full racing, and the longest route can be shared out as a team relay.

Around the riding there is a short gravel sprint tournament, a kids' ride, saunas, live music and a brand expo, then a pancake breakfast and a relaxed Sunday ride through Tartu, with friends and family welcome to join in without riding.
