About this event
InGravel Morellino is a gravel weekend built around the wine country of the Maremma, where the bike is the way into the landscape, the food and the people. It is not a race: the organisers describe it as slow mobility, with routes designed for every kind of rider.
From Magliano in Toscana the routes follow the old Maremma customs roads, climb the Viale dei Cipressi and wind through Morellino vineyards towards Capalbio, with glimpses of the sea. They cross the historic Tenuta Marsiliana estate, follow the banks of the Albegna and pass the Abbey of San Bruzio, and a Sunday social ride heads out towards Talamone and its coast.
InGravel was founded by former professional Andrea Gurayev and outdoor events specialist Werner Peruzzo, with the support of the Morellino wine consortium, and the weekend reflects that mix: a Morellino tasting at the Friday briefing, a sunset aperitivo and dinner with music after the main ride.
