About this event

La Breizh'Flandrienne is a village affair in the best sense. It is put on by the volunteer festival committee of Penguily, a small commune in the Côtes-d'Armor, whose motto is about giving their time for their own pleasure and, above all, for other people's. They borrowed the spirit of the Tour of Flanders and the great spring classics, then swapped the Flemish hills for the rolling country of the Mené.

The gravel side is the more exploratory one: unmarked loops that link small lanes with quieter, less-travelled paths around Penguily and out beyond the Mené, ridden from a GPS track shared just before the day. It suits riders who would rather find their own way through the Breton backcountry than follow arrows.

Expect a festive, unpretentious day out rather than a race, running since 2019: a grouped start, feed stops along the way, a secure bike park, and a galette-saucisse and a drink waiting at the finish.
