Latium Ultra Gravel

Latium Ultra Gravel is a self-supported bikepacking journey through Lazio, built to show off the region beyond Rome: from the city into the countryside, up to the mountains and on to the lakes and the sea. There is no time limit and no assistance, so you decide where to stop and how many days to take.

The loops pass through historic towns, regional parks and medieval villages where the organisers want riders to slow down for local food and produce, and friendly farm stays, campsites and B&Bs along the way let participants sleep indoors or pitch a tent beside fellow riders. Gravel bikes, mountain bikes and e-bikes are all welcome, with routes ranging from a first taste of bikepacking to a long northern epic and a southern explorer loop.
