About this event

Łemkowyna Ultra-Trail is a late-October mountain running weekend in the far south-east of Poland, sold with a knowing wink as "Join the mudness". Its longest race follows the red-marked Main Beskid Trail from the spa town of Krynica-Zdrój all the way to the village square in Komańcza, on a course the organisers describe as mostly forest roads, dirt tracks and paths.

Seven routes share the same hills, from a short Sunday run to the full point-to-point ultra, so first-timers trying a new distance and returning runners chasing a better time start in the same weekend. The organisers frame it as a fresh chance each autumn to test yourself on a new distance or come back for unfinished business.

The same team also runs a winter edition, Łemkowyna Winter Trail, and publishes a racebook and full results lists on its site, so runners can see exactly what they are signing up for.
