Marca Bianca La Notturna

La Notturna is the Marca Bianca ride for people who would rather pedal under a full moon than sleep: a non-competitive night out on the bike that sets off at midnight and rolls on towards dawn, with a helmet, front and rear lights and a GPS track as the only real requirements.

The single loop mixes the cycle paths of the Marca Trevigiana with dirt tracks, and most of it is unpaved. Leaving Morgano, it picks up the old Treviso-Ostiglia railway line, skirts the Oasi di Cervada wetland, then follows quiet lanes, the Mulini cycle path and the banks of the Tergola, between town and countryside.

Green Sport Events, who also run La Epica and La Classica, tell the story of the night with tongue firmly in cheek, all werewolves, frogs and bats. Any bike that rolls is welcome, from gravel and mountain bikes to e-bikes, and the point is to arrive in one piece rather than first.
