Marche Trail

The Marche Trail bills itself as the biggest gravel gathering in the Marche, and insists it is not a race but a journey: a self-supported bikepacking weekend with no time limit and no help on the road, where you choose how many days to take. Its slogan, quoted by Endu, sums up the mood: gravel, people, music and beer.

Everything starts and ends at the Abbadia di Fiastra nature reserve, where woods, white roads and an ancient abbey frame the event village. The loops head inland through hilltop villages with the Sibillini mountains on the horizon, then swing back to the Adriatic along the coastal cycleway, with covered base camps where the tracks cross and riders share a floor, a meal and the day's stories. A one-day social gravel ride keeps the spirit open to those with less time.
