Mosa Ultra is a new self-supported off-road bikepacking event that starts and finishes in Maastricht, in the south of the Netherlands. Route details have not been released yet, and the organisers share news first with their newsletter readers.
It comes from the team behind Utrecht Ultra, a self-supported ultra-distance race that runs almost entirely on tarmac through Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium, where riders may only use services open to everyone along the way and there are no prizes for the fastest finishers. Mosa Ultra takes that same self-reliant spirit off the paved roads.
