The Copenhagen to Stockholm chase is the late-summer finale of the Nordic Chase series: an unsupported ultra between two capitals, open to riders racing for the win and to those simply out to finish inside the time limit.
From Copenhagen the route heads up to the Helsingor to Helsingborg ferry and into Sweden, then crosses Skane and the forests of Smaland, hundreds of kilometres of lake country where the towns thin out. It meets the Baltic again at Norrkoping before the final run north into Stockholm.
Nordic Chase is run from Copenhagen by an organiser who has ridden a number of ultras. It began in 2025 as a single 400 km loop through Denmark and Sweden and became a series of capital-to-capital races in 2026, drawing riders from more than 20 countries, with gravel and road fields starting together.
