About this event

The Rad am Ring Gravel Race takes gravel racing into the Green Hell: a lap course on and alongside the Nürburgring Nordschleife that mixes the circuit's asphalt with gravel tracks, trails and forest roads through the Eifel. No public roads are used or crossed, and the start and finish sit in the Formula 1 arena.

The race is part of Rad am Ring, which for more than two decades has turned the Nürburgring into what the organisers call Germany's biggest cycling festival for one July weekend. Gravel professional and former German champion Paul Voß helped shape the course, and in 2026 the race hosted the German gravel championships, in a festival weekend that TOUR magazine reported drew a record 12,152 participants across all its races.
