SB Hotels La Garba Gravel

The 2027 edition of SB Hotels La Garba — the Terres de l'Ebre gravel weekend from L'Ampolla, 16–18 April 2027. Six distances from 60 km to 500 km across the Delta de l'Ebre and Els Ports Natural Parks (UNESCO Biosphere Reserve territory).

The variety is the appeal. Flat, fast roads and farm tracks at sea level; serious climbing inland; then back to the coast for the run-in. Wind off the Delta is its own challenge in the exposed sections - pacing across both regimes is what the day rewards.

The Parc Natural del Delta de l'Ebre is the visual hook: protected wetland, major bird area, rice fields cut through with irrigation channels. Worth lingering for whether you race or roll through it.

One of the few major Catalan gravel events south of Tarragona, and arguably the most varied terrain on the calendar with sea-level dirt and mountain in a single ride.

Routes are unmarked, GPS-only. Gravel, MTB and e-bike all welcome. Registration is open.
