About this event

The Scott Frontier 300 is a coast-to-coast crossing from the Irish Sea to the North Sea, starting on the Solway coast of Dumfries and Galloway and finishing in England. The idea is simple: get yourself across the old Border Marches under your own steam, either in one long day or spread over two with an overnight camp in the middle.

The All-Road version is roughly half gravel and half quiet lanes and cycle routes, threading through ten different forests on a hidden line that stays well away from busy roads and tourist honeypots. A road-only version now runs alongside it for riders who prefer tarmac.

Focal Events frame it as a test of your own personal frontiers rather than of anyone else's, and the finish is part of the reward: food and a fire by the beach, and new friends to swap stories with about everything that lay between the two shorelines.
