Seaside Ride is a weekend on the Baltic coast in Ostseebad Rerik, curated by André Greipel, built around one idea: no race and no clock, just a ride for people who like to ride and talk, finishing where the road meets the sea. Gravel riders and road riders share the same Saturday, each on their own routes.
Those who still want a contest can chase times on selected Strava segments, but the rest of the weekend is about the coast: a sundowner ride and a first dip in the Baltic on Friday, sauna by the sea, yoga, live music and a DJ party after Saturday's ride, and a Sunday breakfast before the closing Tour de Toleranz, a final ride through Rerik for respect and tolerance.
The event is organised in Rerik by Greipel and Enrico Mannweiller, and 2027 is its third edition, now with a 10 or 20 km coastal run added for those who prefer to go on foot.
