About this event

Sendas Blancas is Ciclismo en Cadena's tribute to the Strade Bianche, carried from the Tuscan hills to the farmland south of Madrid. The idea is to seek out the pale dirt tracks of the Jarama and Tajuña valleys and enjoy the switch between tarmac and gravel, just as the Italian classic does.

The route links farming towns such as San Martín de la Vega, Morata de Tajuña, Chinchón, Titulcia and Ciempozuelos. It is self-guided: no waymarking and no feed stations, just the track on your device and the freedom to stop where you like.

There are no numbers, no timing and no rankings. Riders start with a specialty coffee and finish with a barbecue back at the sports centre, and while gravel bikes are the focus, mountain bikes are welcome too.
