About this event
Southern Grit sets out from Herne Hill Velodrome to show how much off-road riding hides south of the Thames. Hidden Tracks Cycling strings together byways, bridleways, forest trails and flowing singletrack, all on legal rights of way, with quiet roads linking them up.
It is a fully supported day: coffee and croissants before the start, a well stocked feed stop, and pizza and beer back at the velodrome. The routes split after the feed, so riders choose on the day how hard to go. Past riders praise the cut-throughs they never knew existed so close to London.
