The Swiss Epic is the Alpine race of the Epic Series, the family of mountain bike stage races that also includes the Absa Cape Epic in South Africa and the Andorra Epic. Over five days, riders from around the world race alongside professionals on some of the best mountain bike trails in Graubünden.
The organisers carve out a new route every year, linking mountain passes, flow trails, bike parks and picturesque valleys between the alpine towns of Switzerland's largest canton. The 2026 edition was based around Davos and La Punt in the Engadin, and the 2027 race is again centred on Davos.
Accommodation, supporter packages and optional extras can be booked through the organisers, so riders can focus on the racing, and the whole week is pitched as a demanding but rewarding way to discover the Alps by bike.
