About this event
The Terre di Pisa Bike Trail began as a permanent bikepacking loop through the province of Pisa, backed by the local chamber of commerce to connect riders with the people and producers of the area. Once a year it becomes a one-day ride, a relaxed cycle-touring outing on mixed ground with stops to taste what the land makes: wine, olive oil, truffles, beer and more.
The trail links the Leaning Tower with Etruscan Volterra, the Certosa di Calci, the villages of Vicopisano, Ghizzano, Terricciola and Peccioli and the truffle hills of San Miniato. The 2026 day ride left from Pisa, climbed on gravel towards Monte Verruca with views over the city and the sea, and finished with a stop on the beach at Marina di Pisa.
