The Centurion

Thruxton · Hampshire, England · Organised by Glorious Gravel

About this event

The Centurion is Glorious Gravel's biggest ride of the year, a long day on the flowing tracks of Salisbury Plain and the Wiltshire countryside. The shorter option makes a friendly first gravel century, while the Double Centurion is a serious test of endurance with few flat miles to recover on.

The surface keeps changing, from tank tracks and smooth fire roads to singletrack and doubletrack along the ridges, with stretches of tarmac in between. Around the ride the organiser builds a whole festival weekend at Thruxton: track racing on the circuit on Friday evening, music, food, camping, free mechanics and first aid courses, and a new road sportive on the Sunday.
